Carla Accardi was one of the most important figures in international contemporary art.

She was the only woman among the founders of the Forma 1 group, a protagonist of the Italian Femmist movement, and contributed to the development of Abstractism in Italy.

"Milan. Year 1949. Lucio Fontana is working in his studio on Corso Monforte. He is not satisfied with how a painting is turning out, so he decides to destroy it. He grabs a blade and... SLASH!"

Born in France into a family of tapestry restorers, Louise Bourgeois loved studying mathematics and helping her mother with her work as a weaver. She enjoyed drawing so much that, over time, she decided to become an artist.

A dream come true in New York, the city where she would move and live for the rest of her life: here, Louise became the first sculptor to have an exhibition at MoMA. Louise sculpted slender figures representing her loved ones left behind in France, filled entire sheets of paper with words, just like in school, and used objects she had kept from childhood to create her works... She even built a giant spider! And if spiders scare you, after reading this book, you might look at them with different eyes.

KOOL. A Type Specimen is an artist’s book built around KOOL (“cabbage” in Dutch), a new font designed by Reus in collaboration with Antonio de la Hera and Kia Tasbihgou. Halfway between a vegetal alphabet and concrete poetry, the KOOL font includes 26 lowercase letters, 26 uppercase letters, a full set of numbers, 16 punctuation marks, and 6 symbols. It is the result of a three-year research project by the artist, focused on the visual and calligraphic relationship between red cabbage scraps and the letters of the Latin alphabet. The book created by Reus to present the font takes inspiration from the traditional format of the type specimen book—the sample book used by type foundries to showcase the wide range of graphic possibilities, layouts, and configurations of a new typeface.
