This is the third appointment of Open Studi o, the cycle of exhibitions set up in the spaces of Arnaldo Pomodoro's Studio with which the Foundation explores and rediscovers works or moments in the artist's career.

This new chapter of Open Studio focuses on the Sphere, the most iconic form in Arnaldo Pomodoro's production, which will be tackled, explored in depth and reread from multiple points of view.

An itinerary through original and previously unpublished works, documents and archive materials will allow visitors to d iscover the different types of Spheres created by Pomodoro over the years , the history of their conception, realisation and success, as well as the stories and vicissitudes of the most famous Spheres: from Sphere no. 1 of the MoMa in New York to the Sfera grande of the Pesaro seafront and the Farnesina in Rome, passing through the Sfera con sfera of the Vatican Museums and the United Nations Building in New York, to those of Trinity College in Dublin and The Hakone Open-Air Museum in Kanagawa (Japan). N.B. The rooms of the Arnaldo Pomodoro Studio where the exhibition takes place are not fully accessible to people with severe motor disabilities . The workshop and the hall are easily accessible, while the passage to the office and the design room has steps.
