This volume traces a path that explores the lesser-known aspects of Arnaldo Pomodoro's work, presenting mostly unpublished material from his archive.
An itinerary that allows us to examine the constant relationship in the artist's research between micro-dimension, the one linked above all to the design and creation of artist's jewelry, and macro-dimensional interventions of an architectural and landscape nature.
Arnaldo Pomodoro: il movimento possibile gathers together for the first time a set of previously unpublished works created from the second half of the 1950s onwards, offering the reader a unique opportunity to explore the artist's beginnings and the most important stages of his career, accounting for friendships and collaborations with poets such as Paolo Volponi, Attilio Bertolucci and Emilio Villa.
Arnaldo Pomodoro: il movimento possibile, curated by Alberto Salvadori and realized in collaboration with the Arnaldo Pomodoro Foundation, stems from the exhibition held at Galleria Cortesi in Palazzo Morigi, Milan.
