This ornament is a tribute to the artistic partnership between Maestro Arnaldo Pomodoro and Ludovico Corrao, the creative mind behind the rebirth of Gibellina and the Orestiadi Foundation. The “Oreste's Chariot” is one of the stage machines created by Arnaldo Pomodoro for Emilio Isgrò's Orestea, which was staged on the ruins of Gibellina in 1983. This chariot wheel carries with it the signs of an ideal alphabet of the Mediterranean, a dream of a sea of peace.
Handmade in Italy by Matteo Bonafede for Artensis and Fondazione Orestiadi.
